Violinist Eric Wyrick has been Concertmaster of the New Jersey Symphony since 1999. Recently retired from the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Eric had been a member of the internationally acclaimed ensemble for 38 years.

As soloist with the NJ Symphony Wyrick has delighted New Jersey audiences with performances of the great solo violin repertoire as well as unusual and underperformed works. Wyrick has featured collaborations with contemporary local New Jersey composers Darryl Kubian and Steve Mackey in their solo compositions as well as a special revival of Princeton’s legendary Edward T. Cone Violin Concerto.

Mr. Wyrick is a Lecturer at Princeton University and a frequent guest for coaching and Masterclasses at music schools and festivals across the country.

Alisa Wyrick is a violinist and violist, active as both an orchestral and chamber musician in the New York area. She regularly performs with the New York Philharmonic and the New York City Ballet Orchestra, and is a member of both the New York City Opera Orchestra and the Albany Symphony. She previously served as Concertmaster of the South Bend Symphony, where she was also a frequent soloist. Alisa’s musical career has taken her around the world, performing chamber and orchestral music across the U.S., South America, Europe, China, and Japan.

She trained at the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division and went on to earn a double degree in Violin Performance and Sociology from Oberlin College and Conservatory. She also holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning.

A devoted collaborator and educator, cellist Kirsten Jermé enjoys an eclectic freelance life performing with ensembles such as the Harlem Chamber Players and as a sub on Broadway shows, at Radio City, and with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Orchestra. Kirsten performed internationally and served as Eykamp String Quartet Artist-in-Residence at the University of Evansville and Principal Cellist of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.

She is currently on faculty of the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. Kirsten received her B.A. from Stony Brook, her M.M. at Eastman, and is currently a D.M.A. candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center. Her primary teachers include Colin Carr, Steven Doane, and Marcy Rosen.
